December has begun, snow is falling and continuing to blanket our beloved mountains, our "tools of the trade" are set and polished, ready to be used so we can fully enjoy the great outdoors awaiting us out there.
Just a little more patience, and we’ll be able to start doing what we love most, in complete freedom.

In the meantime, we are excited to share what we've been working on, or rather, what we've already accomplished. After all, inactivity is a term that has never entered the Verticalife vocabulary, and as the Romans taught us, Audentes fortuna iuvat!

The global awareness of environmental sustainability is now a given, and as a result, active and sustainable tourism is rapidly expanding. The desire to experience nature is increasingly becoming a necessity, a way to reclaim what has been lost to the rhythms of an outdated capitalist system that has now reached its end.

In Italy, we have one of the world’s most important natural parks, the Gran Paradiso National Park, an immeasurable treasure of which we should be proud. In line with the times, the park has chosen to open up to tourism in a way that truly reflects its identity.

It is precisely within these principles of environmental best practices, sustainability, and tourism that the crossroads emerged, leading to the collaboration between the Gran Paradiso National Park and Verticalife.

This partnership began about three years ago and, driven by a shared goal, has grown over time amidst the many daily commitments. The collaboration, rooted in mutual trust, led to the creation of a specific code of conduct for tour operators, written jointly. The goal was to find a common path to promote a unique world heritage site, with the feeling on both sides that it was necessary to complete the park’s tourism chain by bringing together its certified operators and a specialized tour operator like Verticalife.

We are happy and honored to have officially received the Quality Mark for our itineraries and holiday proposals within the Gran Paradiso National Park.

We are the first tour operator to receive this recognition, and we are already working with other tourism operators in the park to create unique, zero-kilometer packages, all 100% with the Quality Mark, in full respect of the nature and unique wildlife that the park is known for.

The wealth and unique resources of this territory have always needed to be promoted in the best possible way. Finally, with the efforts and expertise of everyone involved, we have taken the right path together, all the way to discovering the wonders of Gran Paradiso.

In a period when professional specialization is at its highest, the ability to network these excellences effectively is crucial. This green and sustainable conversion of tourism requires skills but also entails significant responsibilities, which Verticalife takes on willingly, as it has always done.

A small but virtuous example of good territorial policy, where efforts have been made to place the right pieces in the right places, seeking a balance between operators, the tourism offer, nature, and our "home" territory. We promise to tell the world about it in the most brilliant and responsible way possible.

This means designing and creating tourist packages through the awareness and knowledge of proactive individuals who contribute their culture and "art," enriching and preserving a historically rich and unique territory.
