Raise your gaze, and the destination becomes clear. The pyramid of Cervino (Matterhorn) dominates the horizon like a beacon of rock and ice.
We're used to seeing it on winter postcards or from car windows, but experiencing it from the saddle of a gravel bike is a whole different story.
The Cervino Valley hides an incredible network of white roads. It's a labyrinth of old communication routes and trails connecting historic villages, almost never touching asphalt. We designed this Cervino–Matterhorn Gravel Tour precisely to connect the dots: three days to explore the valley, cycling on natural balconies that offer continuous views of the Alps.

Forget the endless flat roads. Here, we embrace Alpine Gravel. This means there are climbs, and you'll feel them in your legs, but it's that "just right" effort that pays off as soon as you crest a ridge.
We ride on varied terrains: from compact forest roads to woodland trails, passing through the famous Valdostan farm roads.
These roads serve the alpine pastures, often closed to traffic, traversing the mountainsides. The result? You cover many kilometers while staying at altitude, with the valley opening up beneath you and peaks crowning the horizon.

Our itinerary touches three key points: Torgnon, Valtournenche, and Chamois.
Torgnon is aptly named the sun village: south-facing, it offers pleasant temperatures and incredible light that accompanies us on the first climbs.
From here, we move towards the heart of the valley, utilizing cycling paths and just enough technical sections to keep things exciting. One of the most beautiful moments is arriving in Chamois. It is the only municipality in Italy not reachable by car. Arriving there by bike, amidst the silence broken only by the sound of our tires on the gravel, is a truly unique sensation.
Here, time seems to stand still, and the bike is the perfect means to respectfully enter this reality.

This tour is designed for those who love the spirit of adventure but don't want to compromise on comfort. We don't sleep in tents; instead, we stay in selected accommodations where Valdostan hospitality is guaranteed.
After a day of pedaling, you need to recover. And in Valle d'Aosta, recovery always involves the dinner table.
Fontina, polenta concia, local cured meats: dinner is a fundamental part of the journey, for bonding with the group and recharging energy for the next stage. Logistics are managed by us, so you only need to focus on cycling and soaking in the surroundings.

You don't need to be a professional athlete, but you do need a willingness to embrace the challenge. The Cervino–Matterhorn Gravel tour is perfect for you if:
